Fly Agaric Mushroom Brooch.
The Fly Agaric is probably our most recognisable British species of fungi and typically grows beneath birch trees, pines and spruces. Their red cap and white spots can usually be seen between late summer and early winter.
Each brooch has been lovingly handmade using an enamelling technique, beginning with a sheet of copper, firing the piece in a kiln and fusing glass to the surface.
Due to the enamelling process each one is unique therefore the surface colour and texture is different on each brooch. Every care has been taken to represent the product accurately and images are selected to try and reflect this. If you feel you want to pick a specific brooch please get in touch.
